You should never apologize for helping to cure cancer. It takes courage and confidence to share your connection to cancer and to use your reason to Relay as a fundraising tool. You should be proud of being a Relay For Life and American Cancer Society volunteer and taking a stand in the fight against cancer. Even though it can be awkward to ask for money, remember that the money you raise through Relay is saving lives so never apologize for asking for a donation to support the American Cancer Society.
